Echoes .001.26
A collection shaped by journeys, trade routes and the quiet exchange of ideas. Handwoven cottons, linens and silks developed with artisan communities across Bengal and Karnataka. Designed to move between places, occasions and seasons with ease.
Every collection begins with a conversation.
For Echoes .001.26, it began with the weavers of Bengal working cottons, linens and intricate motifs into cloth, and with the women weavers of Karnataka carrying forward generations of skill. It continued through silk, a material shaped by centuries of movement, exchange and connection.
These are more than textiles. They are expressions of memory, craft and place.
At Origin & Objects, design begins with fabric. Each textile is developed in collaboration with artisan communities, from weave structures and motifs to texture, density and colour. The cloth then guides silhouette and form, allowing its character to shape the final garment.
Handwoven cottons, khadi linens, cotton silks and recycled silk stripes come together in a collection designed for contemporary life—pieces that move easily between places, occasions and seasons.
Echoes .001.26 is a reflection on continuity: between past and present, maker and wearer, origin and destination. A collection created to be lived in, worn often and carried forward.
